Meet DEMA's Counselor          Dr. Zandra Davis

My name is Dr. Zandra Holloway Davis, and I am the Professional School Counselor here at Downtown Engineering Magnet Academy.  I am absolutely elated to be your scholar's counselor.  I earned my undergraduate degree at Alabama State University in Early Childhood Education.  I later went on to further my studies at Troy University where I earned my Masters and Educational Specialist in Counseling/Psychology.  Finally, I was blessed to finish up my educational goals by earning a Doctorate degree from North Central University in Early Childhood Education, specializing in Early Intervention.  This is my 27th year in education, and I still enjoy it just like I did my very first year.

 

Thank you for the remarkable and blessed opportunity to establish and maintain meaningful relationships with you and your families.  We are so powerful together!  

 

Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my beautiful family and friends.  I love to worship the Lord, read great books, shop, and listen to music.
